As we know already, Windows 8 Developer Preview has already
been released on September 2011. It’s been almost six months since Windows 8
has been released to the public. Now, the news from Microsoft says that the
next version of Windows 8 will be released. At the same time, Windows 8
Developer Preview will be end soon. But do not worry. For those who has already
installed Windows 8 Developer Preview and wished to extend their licence
period, there is a way to do it.
The easiest one is by checking it into Windows
Update. The updater will automatically set your new licence to extend the
period of Windows 8 Developer Preview. You can also download manually via web
by searching the Windows Update Reference: KB2671501 as the update will extend
the licence to January 15, 2013. That’s mean that you can still enjoy to use
Windows 8 Developer Preview for about 1 year.
Therefore, for the next release of Windows 8, check out for
